Condolences
Rena was more than just a friend as she was truly part of my family for which I’m grateful as I have fond memories to cherish of Rena !
Rest in peace
While I am travelling in Poland I hear of the the passing of Rena. I will never forget her in our family as an inherited aunt through her friendship with my C-Joan. I enjoyed her laughter and wisdom and she will be eternally remembered. My thoughts and prayers are with all in Brantford today. Love Paul, Laurel, Samantha and Will.
We wish that we could be in Brantford on Monday to pay our final respects to Rena. We are there in spirit as we remember all the family events, outings, and concerts that we shared with her. We always introduced her as "our aunt," and indeed, she fully embraced each of us as a family member. We continue to treasure our memories as she is laid to rest. With sincerest condolences, Kevin and Berni (Blaha) Fitz-Gerald
I will cherish the memories I have with my adopted Aunt Rena. She and my Cioci Joan helped make long summer days spent in Brantford fun with trips to bowling alleys, restaurants, and the Newport Music Festival. Her strong character and generosity of spirit made a lasting impression on me as a kid, and I will forever try to uphold her legacy. May she rest in peace.
