DAWSON, Harry Joseph (Butch) "Absent from the body and present with the Lord."
It is with deep sorrow and sadness we announce the sudden passing of a very loving father and grandfather. Predeceased by his dearly loved wife Margaret (nee Tincknell-2008), Harry left us to join her on what would have been their 61st wedding anniversary. Harry was a loving and caring father to his daughters Leanne and Jennifer (Jim), much loved Papa to JJ, Shauna (Adrian), Tim (Annie) and Matthew and a proud great grandpa to Charlotte and Olivia. Harry is predeceased by his parents Harry and Teresa Dawson, sister Sherron and brother Ron. Harry was a chemist by trade, a passionate fisherman and an Elvis fan who loved his family, friends, singing, playing guitar, karate and the Lord. He will be dearly missed by all. A private family service has been held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harry's memory to Evangel Church or the Brant County SPCA.
A tree will be planted in memory of Harry in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
