Obituary of Rose Clark-Whiteman

Whiteman, Rose (nee Clark) Rose in her 66th year passed away on Sunday, April 30th, 2023 quietly in her home. Survived by her brothers George and Bob Clark and their families, her children Grant, Sherri-Lee, Jason and their families. Predeceased by her parents George Sr. and Mary Clark. Rose was blessed to have many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews that loved her. Rose had a passion for cooking and baking. She made a career of working in the kitchen of restaurants and bars in the Kingston area and Brantford. Rose loved animals, especially her dogs and cats. Walking her dog along the river trail was her greatest joy. She loved the outdoors. Missed by Joe and her many friends. As Rose would say 'CHEERS!" Friends will be received at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331 on Wednesday, May 10th, 2023 from 12:30 until the service time at 1:30. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Interment to follow at Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Rose in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
