James Wright Greenwood, age 85, passed peacefully on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 at Juravinski Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife Carole and her children Kevin (Jenn), Bryan (Tamara) and Shannon. Survived by his children Debbie (Steve) and David. Also by his grandchildren Ashley, Alex and Kylie, and great-granddaughter Anastasia. Predeceased by his first wife Sylvia Greenwood (nee Hobson). Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 5th, 2023 from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331. Service of Remembrance will take place in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Caring for Cancer Community - South Coast would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of James in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
