Condolences
My heart felt condolences to all of Ben’s family.. I just learned of his passing.
A great friend during our shared time at McMaster 79-83 , starting on 2nd floor Woodstock Hall.
Sadly we lost touch after graduation.
Many fond memories and laughs and some great tennis .. even hosted me once at your family home sharing friends, family, canoeing and way too much partying…teasing as teens do .. introduction to the Azores..
Big smile .. positive energy.. good friend
You made a positive impact ..
Benjamin Lionel Amadamasa Moniz (I’m sure so incorrect but that’s my recollection)
Cheers to you my friend

You will always be remembered for your patience, kindness and gentle soul who had a love for reading. Our paths may have changed as life went on, but you are always in my heart and never forgotten.

Benjamin my dear baby brother I always remembered they day you were born you were so cute and does big black eyes and hair I feel in love with this baby!
As you grow up I always look at you as baby brother until the end of life I will all ways be in my ♥️ Love your sister Lucy,
When I think back to my childhood, I think of Ben. He was like the older brother I never had. He was one of the most patient people in my life. He taught me how to play chess, cribbage, backgammon, and tennis. We had many walks along the train tracks with Sargeant and many swims at the town beach and salt docks. His love for reading became one of my passions and led me to my career as a literacy educator. I loved you so much Ben, that I named my eldest son after you. You were one of the kindest, most gentle human beings I had the privilege of knowing and I am so glad we had two great visits in your last weeks. Thank you for being such a positive influence in my life.
I love you.

Dearest Ben,
It was such a pleasure getting to know you. Your smile lighted up the room and your positive outlook on life remains with us. Your legacy of being a brilliant, pleasant, and calm man continues on with Alex and Adam. You have a terrific sense of humour and will be greatly missed. See you in Heaven.
