Please share a memory of Robertson to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Overholt, Robertson- It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Robertson Bluett Overholt on February 8, 2023. Rob is survived by his best friend and wife Lisa Overholt (nee Gooder) His brother Mostyn Overholt and sister Sterling Keuper (Eric Keuper) Brothers in law Kevin Gooder (Renate) and Darren Gooder (Laura) and three best pals, Sudzie, Ernie and Healey. Rob is pre deceased by his parents Dr. Bluett and Mrs. Nan Overholt. Uncle Robbie dearly loved and was proud of each and every one of his nieces and nephews. Spencer Overholt, William Overholt, Marshall Keuper, Emilie Gooder, Jakob Gooder, Canyon Gooder, Abbey Gooder, Rhainnon Gooder and Emery Gooder. Rob better known as “Robbie O” played an enormous role in the lives of so many wonderful people throughout this life. He was husband, friend, father figure and most of all the guy that could see every situation for what it was, not how it was presented. His friend circle was vast, there are just to many people to name, but we know he is loved by many. Rob loved the open waters and shorelines of the Muskoka Lakes where he could be found boating with his Donzi group, making his livelihood or just a leisurely cruise in his Greavette. He spent his summers growing up on Lake Rosseau and his winters slope side with friends and family in Ellicottville. In fall of 2000 Rob and Lisa relocated from Brantford to Port Carling, where they built their life together for the last 23 years. As we grieve the passing of Robbie, we are left with an unimaginable void, we all have that one “Robbie O” story and his memory lives on each time we share. Lisa is so appreciative of the calls, messages and support you have shown in this tragic time. At the family’s request anyone who would like to can donate to the Dollars For Dinners Fund at West Muskoka Foodbank. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331. A tree will be planted in memory of Rob in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
