Obituary of Marilena Rodriguez

RODRIGUEZ, Marilena Ann (nee Fraino) - Passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 25th, 2022, at 57 years of age at the Stedman Community Hospice. Beloved wife and best friend of 29 years to Edgar Rodriguez, and loving mother of Ashley and Alexandra Rodriguez. Dear daughter of the late Elisabetta (1987) and Eriberto Fraino (2014) and beloved sister of Sergio Fraino and the late Anna Maria (Fraino) Janos (2007). Deeply missed by her extended family residing in Brantford, Calgary, Italy, Germany, Venezuela, and the United States. Marilena devoted over 30 years of hard work and passion to Tip Top Tailors, formerly known as Jack Fraser. She loved spending time in nature by walking at Glenhyrst Gardens and Apps’ Mill, going for bike rides with her family, and travelling. Marilena will be remembered for her kindness, strength, perseverance, and selfless dedication to her family and friends. She will be fondly missed by all who knew her. Ti amo; riposi in pace. Friends and family will be received at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford, on Thursday, December 29th, 2022 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Basil's Catholic Church, 50 Palace St., Brantford, on Friday, December 30th, 2022 at 10:30am. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery will follow. It is respectfully asked that you wear a mask to the Visitation and Funeral Mass. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Marilena in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
