Dear Scott, Jay, and the entire Flicks family,
I’m very saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle Al.
Mom and I would often go to see Al at his home in Mt Pleasant then later at St. Josephs in Brantford. Mom and Al would would talk endlessly and to see the loyalty in each other as they visited was overwhelming and heartwarming. Unlike many brothers and sisters you could see and feel the love between the two.
I kept in touch with St.Josephs until just before he passed in December and he was well.
I really enjoyed taking mom to Brantford to see her brother and my uncle. Mom and I would go shopping for Al, take it to him at his home. When we knocked on the door and Al saw mom get out of her Cadillac he had a beautiful beaming smile with open arms for his sister. I miss my mom (Terry) and dad (Jim) very much, and now are all reunited with the entire Pieprzak/ Flicks family.
RIP Uncle Al , your nephew Tim Pieprzak
