Cormier, Joseph William "Bill" - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, August 27, 2022 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Ann (nee: Driscoll). Loving father of Captain Brian Cormier RCAF and his wife Nancy, Chris Cormier and his wife Jennifer. Caring grandfather of Carolyn, Michelle, Hannah and Grace. Predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Bill is gone to keep his tee time in Heaven. He could be found 5 days per week on the Burford Golf Course. He will be missing his golf buddies Peter and Claude. He was also an avid walker and a member of the Brant County Men's Probus Club. Bill was born in Woodside, Nova Scotia and worked for the Ontario Ministry of Labour. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Wednesday from 7-9 pm. A Mass of Catholic Burial/Cremation will take place at the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Parish, 181 King Street, Burford on Thursday at 10:00 am. Donations to Prostate Cancer Canada would be appreciated. Donations and condolences are available online at www.beckettglaves.com. A tree will be planted in memory of Bill in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
