Obituary of Iris Kathleen Churchward

Churchward, Iris Kathleen passed peacefully in her sleep at the Brantford General Hospital on August 25, 2022 at the age of 98. Predeceased by her beloved husband Roy, and brother Jack Sandison. Loving mother of Bob (Barb) and Bill. Grandmother of Brad (Shannon), Scott (Kristine), Hilary, Craig (Elaine) and Andrew (Jamie). Step grandmother of Becki (Carl) and Brad. Great grandmother to 14. Dear friend of Deb Van Elslander. Iris was a long-time member of Balfour United Church and the Brant Belle-A-Dears. In her later years she enjoyed leading the singing at Amber Lea. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, on Wednesday, August 31 from 12pm to 1pm. A service will be held in the chapel at 1pm. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. At the family's request, mask wearing is strongly encouraged. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
