Herbert Blakie Brown Born September 29th, 1930 to Grant and Emma Brown, in Broadlands, Quebec. Passed away peacefully at Columbia Forest nursing home in Waterloo on May 29th, 2022. Loving father of late Shawn (Betty), Lana (Tony) and Darlis (Pat). Beloved grandfather of Matthew, Blair, Chloe, Pagan, Zach and Seaton. Cherished brother to late Gerald (Janice), Daniel (Anne-Marie), Ian (Becky), Christina (Lionel), Elaine (late Donald), Thirza (late Sam), Sheila (Don), Jocelyn (Claus) and Bonnie (Paul). Herb spent many years on the OPP. He also had a true love of cars. He will be sadly missed. Friends will be received at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Monday June 6th, 2022 from 10:30 am to 11am. Service will be held in the chapel at 11am. Interment to follow at Farringdon Burial Ground, 287 Mount Pleasant St. Brantford. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
