Obituary of Ann Farrugia

FARRUGIA, Ann Devoted wife of 49 years; avid gardener; loving mother and doting granny; soft touch at Monopoly but to be reckoned with at cards; former head of the Payroll Department with the City of Mississauga; enthusiastic member of the ladies' book club at St. Mark's Anglican; lover of dogs; lover of people. That was Ann Farrugia, who passed away unexpectedly on the morning of May 25th, 2022. She leaves behind a heartbroken son and daughter (in law), Peter and Liisa, as well as a grieving grandson, the apple of her eye, Michael. Doggo Benji is not exactly sure what has happened but knows it is sad. Countless other family, friends, former co-workers and neighbours have been impacted too. A memorial service will take place at Beckett-Glaves Funeral Home, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Saturday June 4th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the service time at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada, or the Brantford General Hospital. A tree will be planted in memory of Ann in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
