Chase, Gordon Bernard - Passed away peacefully at the Hardy Terrace Long Term Care on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022 in his 87th year. Born in Prince Albert, Nova Scotia. Beloved husband of the late Vivian. Loving father of Helen (Tom), Philip (Cathy) and Donna (Tyler). Cherished Grampy of John and Josh (Alicia), Papa of Daryl (Krystal), Donna (Justin), Andrew, Ryan (Karla) and Kyle (Shelbie), Great-Grampy of Niya and Kai, Great-Papa of Grayson, Ayla and Callie (due July 16th 2022). Also Great-Grampy of the late Gabriel (2021). Dear brother of the late Sherman, William (Gail), Gwen (late Richard), Marion (late Warren) and baby sister, late Hazel. Special uncle to Daniel and David. Predeceased by his parents Helen and Everett. A special thank you to the staff at Hardy Terrace for the care and support they gave our father while he was there. Gordon was an avid hunter and a big fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331 on Saturday, May 21st from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. A celebration of life will be held in the chapel at 11:00am. Donations to the SPCA or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Gordon in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
