Obituary of Gwendolyn Reynolds

REYNOLDS, Gwendolyn (Gwen) Josephine Passed away peacefully on April 19, 2022 at St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, Brantford, ON in her 93rd year. Gwen is survived by her sisters Lorna and Margaret, her children, Gail (Frank), Gary, Heather and Robert, her grandchildren Kaitlyn, Gillian, Laura, Lindsay, Jennifer and Caroline and her great-grandchildren Maddy, Brody and Sophie together with many members of the Graham family. She was predeceased by her husband Stephen (2014) and by her son, Bradley (1983). Gwen was born on May 16, 1929, the sixth child of Harold and Elva Graham and grew up on a farm outside of Omemee, Ontario with six sisters, Edna, Olive, Doris, Helen, Lorna and Margaret and a younger brother, Douglas. As a young women she moved to Toronto for work where she met Stephen and the couple married on September 27, 1952. The family lived in Peterborough and Brantford Ontario. Gwen dedicated her life to her family and was an active member of Fairview United Church. Cooking, gardening and a rousing game of cards were some of Gwen's passions. Every summer Gwen loved to attend the annual Graham family picnic and spend time at the family cottage on Cordova Lake. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Beckett-Glaves.
