Vail-Park (nee Hall), Cheryl Lynn - After a fighting battle with cancer, Cheryl passed away at the Stedman Community Hospice on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 3 days shy of her 66th birthday with family by her side. Born in Brantford January 21, 1956, the eldest daughter of the late James Eugene Hall and Anne Elizabeth Hall. Wife of Bruce Park, Mother to Dan (Ashley) Vail and Dustin Vail. Cherished grandmother to Emily, Isabelle, Spence, Ana Lyn and Quinn. and Quin. Sister to Doug (Tammy) Hall and Beverly Wills and Sister-in-law Dorothy Hall. Predeceased by her brother David Hall and brother-in-law John Wills. Cheryl was the matriarch of the family, she loved family get-togethers and never missed a Saturday to take her grandson Spence Phillip for shopping and McDonalds and have a picnic in the van.Cheryl loved gardening, reading, watching movies at home with Bruce. She worked for the City of Brantford as a custodian at the Gretzky Centre, Civic Centre and Beckett's building for 30 years. Cheryl curled for 10 years winning the Hamilton District Bonspiel 4 times, twice in the open and twice in the seniors division. She will be fondly missed by all who knew her. At her request, cremation has taken place. No visitation or service will take place at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, (519) 752-4331. Donations to the SPCA, Canadian Cancer Society or the Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Cheryl in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
