On Tuesday, December 7, 2021 Betty Jean Clubine (nee: Misener) passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Donald in 2004 and son Paul in 2011. Betty will be sadly missed by her daughter Kathryn Hunter and son Christopher (Lori). Beloved sister of Marjorie (the late Claude Lazenby), sister-in-law Sandra (the late Oliver Clubine) and daughter-in-law Epame (the late Paul Clubine). Loving Grandmother to Lisa, Lacey, Joel, Max, Geoffery, Ben and Great Grandmother to Jackson. A life-long resident of Brant County, Betty was very proud of her farm-family roots. She attended a one-room school house (Pine Grove School) until grade 8, then graduated from B.C.I in Brantford. Member of the United Church (Cainsville, Brant Avenue and St Andrews churches), Betty will be missed by her friends in the Women's Institute. Thank you to Dr. C. Gideon (Lynden Family Practice) for her wonderful, generous care and also to nurse Ashley for her kind, gentle soul. Special thanks to Betty's loving neighbourhood friends; Laurie and Steve, Emma and Neil, Carol and John. Friends will be received at the Becektt-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Monday from 10-11 am. A celebration of Betty's life will be held in the chapel in Monday at 11 am with Reverend Stephen Iverson officiating. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Betty's memory to the Soup for the Soul meal program (St. Andrews Church) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation are appreciated. Donations, condolences and a live funeral webcast are available online at www.beckettglaves.com. A tree will be planted in memory of Betty in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest. Please note : At the family's request and due to Covid 19, Official Covid 19 Vaccination Passports will be required to enter the funeral home. If you do not wish to provide a passport, please attend via the free online webcast of the service.
