Claudette (niece) & Dell, Calgary
Aunt Irene was a good sister to Mom & came to visit & stay about every 3-5 years for a week or 2 at a time
She LOVED to talk & when she got going, so did her crossed leg !
She constantly talked about all her friends back home & if you didn’t keep up with the story - she got a little mad - it was funny to watch ;D).
Aunt Irene always wrote letters & cards to Mom even though she hardly ever got one back in return.
On one trip to Calgary we took her for a drive in the mountains - she was talking the whole way & I finally said “talk talk talk - I bet you can’t stop for 5 minutes !” - she shut right up but you could see her almost ready to burst near the end but she made it to 5 minutes - everyone had a good laugh watching her squirm
She was always putting jokes in her letters, & telling jokes any time we talked on the phone or saw her.
Aunt Irene was loved & will be dearly missed.
My deepest condolences to you Jac and your family with the loss of your grandma. Another Angel has earned her wings.
Sherry was our best friend and neighbor for many years and we loved her dearly. She always had a joke to tell for a laugh. She will never be forgotten. Love Judy and Wayne.
