Obituary of Kenneth Abrey

Abrey, Kenneth Roy - Passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 23rd, 2021 in his 78th year. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Dorothy Abrey. Remembered by his good friends the Summerhayes family, Shirley Capling, and Cousin Ron Cleaver. Predeceased by Cousins Len Cleaver and Donna Cutler. Ken was a Master 10 Pin Bowler starting off in a Rubber League at the former Bowlerama, then later, Star Lanes. Founding member of Celebration Church. A true lover of Port Dover and the Erie Beach Hotel where he vacationed annually for decades. A fan of classic cars and greeting other neighbors every day at his local Tim’s, Ken will be remembered by many in his neighborhood and beyond. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Monday, August 30, 2021 from 12 pm until 1 pm. A Celebration of Ken's life will be held in the chapel at 1 pm. Interment to follow at Farringdon Burial Ground. Reception with Ken’s Favorite Apple Fritters to follow. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, face masks must be worn and social and physical distancing must be adhered to. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
