Melo, Armando - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his residence on Monday, August 16th, 2021 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Lourdes Melo (nee: Medeiros). Fondly missed by his extended family and friends. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331 on Friday, August 20th, 2021 from 11:30 until 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Basil's Parish 50 Palace St., Brantford at 1:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, face masks must be worn and social and physical distancing must be adhered to. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society or Charity of your choice would be appreciated. Condolences, donations and tributes are available at www.beckettglaves.com
A tree will be planted in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest in memory of Armando.
