GRAY- Kenneth Edward in his 69th year unexpectedly passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday May 22nd 2021 after a brief battle against multiple cancers and COPD. Predeceased by his parents Gord and Edna Gray. Ken was a loving and devoted father to Kristine (Jay), Karen (Denise) and Kevin (Tammy). Deeply loved Grandfather (Puppy) to Shyanne, Chloe and Peyton. Beloved brother to Judy Grierson (Jamie) and Rick (Chrissy). Ken will be deeply missed by his loving friend Kathy Gray and leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Despite not liking cats majority of his life Ken also leaves behind three senior kitty’s, Bud, Tippy and Tinkerbell. Ken was born in Toronto and moved to Brantford as a young teen with his parents and siblings. Over the years Ken was a devoted hard worker at many companies as a welder which include Massey-Ferguson, Zamboni, Keep Rite, Trailmobile, Harding Carpets, Oxford Automotive (Butler Metals), Cam Weld, John G Wilson and Motts Manufacturing. Ken grew up playing hockey and continued to play as an adult for many years as a long time member of the SEALS Hockey League. Ken had a very strong passion for cooking and loved watching wrestling like WWE and WCW. At Ken’s request, a cremation has already taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331. Donations may be made in Ken’s memory to the Arnold Anderson Sport Fund and Hearts to Homes Feline Rescue and Sanctuary both located in Brantford. A tree will be planted in memory of Ken in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
