Brown, Douglas William Alfred - Passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee: Ludlow). Survived by sister Dawn Kelly (Paul). Caring brother-in-law of Gerry and his wife Greta, Philip, Wayne and his wife Sharon, Glen and his wife Shirley, Marion and her husband Donald Garland. Predeceased by his parents Helen Bogaert and father William 'Bill' Brown. At the family's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service. Arrangements are entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, (519) 752-4331. Donations to the Diabetes Association or the Brantford Food Bank would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Douglas in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
