Obituary of Edilberto Garcia
Please share a memory of Edilberto to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with the greatest sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Ed (Rebert) Garcia at the age of 65 at the Brantford General Hospital suddenly on January 8th.
Ed was born in Sao Mateus, Pico, Portugal on February 14, 1955. Ed was a lover of animals and an avid fisherman and mechanic. There was no job too big or too complicated that he couldn’t figure out. He was a hard worker to a fault and a friend to everyone he met. He never failed to help someone in need. There are just no words to describe how much he will be missed. He took a piece of all of our hearts with him.
He is survived by his loving wife Leslie Garcia, mother Maria Garcia, brothers Jose (Sheila) and Carlos (Betty) Garcia, children Kyle Garcia (Sarah Becker), Brian Garcia, Sarah Flack (Don) and Katie Bangay. He is also survived by grandchildren Carley Smith (Bill), Brandy, Elizabeth, Zander and Delilah Garcia, Hope Fitzmorris, Kellan and Jase Flack. Also great grandchildren Skye Smith and Maziah Garcia. He also leaves behind his fur babies Bella and Baby. He is predeceased by his father Manuel Garcia and son Michael Garcia and his beloved dog Lola.
Celebration of Life will take place along with his son Brian on Sunday, October 24th, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson St. Brantford, 519-752-2543.
A tree will be planted in memory of Ed in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
