FEB 15, 1929 – AUG 31, 2020
Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 31st, 2020. June Janet Pickering in her 91st year was called by the Lord. June is survived by her loving sister Dorothy Slaunwhite, predeceased by her brothers Clarence "Skip" Pickering and Joseph Pickering. She will be sadly missed by nieces June Marshall, Connie McGinley, Susan MacDonald and many other nieces and nephews. June loved to sing and have fun with all of her family. At June's request cremation has already taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, 519-752-4331 on Sunday, Sept 13th, 2020 from 1-3 pm. Due to Covid - 19 all guests must be wearing a face covering. The family thanks you in advance for your cooperation. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit at the Brantford General Hospital and to Parkview Retirement Home for all their support and love.
