Obituary of Helen Plummer

Plummer, Helen (nee Mumford) Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of 54 years to the late George Plummer (2001). Daughter of the late Charles Mumford (1952) and Lena McDonald (1982). Predeceased by her sister Erie (Don) Marshall (2002). Loving mother of Larry Plummer (1990), Lloyd (Lynda) Plummer, Lorraine Morgan, and Deb (Glen) Peacock. Cherished grandmother of Amy (John), Tammy (Josh), David (Corrie), Heather, Tyler (Julianne), Danielle (Alex), Leanne, Michael (Katie), and Ryan. Helen was always involved with family and especially enjoyed seeing and hearing about her 10 great grandchildren. Helen was born in London Ontario but spent most of her life in Simcoe, St George and Brantford. She will be remembered for her cheerful nature and her uncanny ability to bring truth, clarity and humour to any situation. Throughout her life she was always ready to lend a helping hand and enjoyed trying something new. At her request cremation has taken place and a private interment will take place at Rockwood Cemetery.
