Ann and I first met in 1985. We were some of the first staff at the Scarborough Grace Hospital and instantly became very close friends. I will always treasure the holidays I spent with her at the Salvation Army Trailer Camp at Jackson Point, as well as the many other fun times, and friends, we shared over the years. There are few people in life that can have such a positive impact on all those they meet and Ann was just such a person. I'm sure the fact that she was so accepting, caring, empathetic, non-judgmental, loyal, and trustworthy may, in some small way, be part of the reason. My dearest Ann, my heart has shrunk just a little bit more with your passing. Rest in Peace my dear friend.
