Obituary of Rose Jones

JONES, ROSE - Surrounded by her family, Rose passed away peacefully on June 14, 2020 at the Stedman Community Hospice at age 77. She will be forever missed by her daughters Gaynor (Dave Sullivan) and Julie (Bob Bosworth) as well as her grandchildren David, Nick and Abby. Rose was married to Glynn (2018) for over 55 years and he was absolutely the love of her life. Rose enjoyed sewing, knitting and making sure everyone was together during the holidays. At Rose’s request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, 519-752-4331. A private family interment will take place at a later date in Farringdon Burial Ground (Brantford) and in England. Many thanks to the wonderful care from Irena, Shonaire, Lara, Dr Singh and all the amazing nurses and PSWs at Stedman Hospice. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Stedman Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated as the care, kindness and compassion Mom received was beyond words.
