Obituary of James Denton Messecar

Messecar, James Denton Sr It is with sad hearts, the family announces the passing of James 'Jamie" Denton Messecar Sr., in his 64th year on Friday, June 12, 2020 at the John Noble Home. Jamie was the loving husband of Dale (nee Forrest), proud father of James Jr. (Bronwyn Jones). Cherished Papa of James III and Evelyn. He is also survived by his brother Wayne (Pat) Messecar and sister Nancy (Rick) Liggins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents Elmer and Doris (nee Kneabone) Messecar. Brother-in-law of Donna Campbell and Raymond Cruickshank. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place at Farringdon Burial Grounds on Friday, June 19th, 2020 at 11 a.m. Funeral Arrangements are entrusted with BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Ave. Brantford, 519-752-4331. The family requests, in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the John Noble Home Recreational Department or the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets Corps #135 Admiral Nelles. A special thanks to the great staff at the John Noble Home, who took wonderful care of Jamie over the past 2 years. A tree will be planted in memory of Jamie in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
