Condolences
We had some good laughs at Tim's. Annie & Terry Spiers
To Tammy, Tom and Families, Condolences on your Mom's passing. May you cherish the memories of your Mom, and her love will live on with them. Thinking of you, Wendy Jarvis-Kane.
Melba lived in the house behind us when I was growing up. We used to visit and Melba was always laughing. My mom loved going for those visits as Melba’s humour brightened her day. She lived the good life. My condolences to Tammy and Tom. Cindy Blair

Jenny (the TPOC therapy cat) will miss Melba when we are able to visit St. Joe's again. Melba was always our first stop and Jenny loved to snuggle on Melba's bed as she was usually having a nap after lunch. She was kind and funny lady who loved animals, and Jenny sensed that very much. Hope she is reunited with Suzie, her special pig!
Awwww. So sorry to hear about Melba. I always had a warm spot for her in my heart. She used to be my kid's lunch mom at the St. George Public School. She was funny, too. My kids are now 38 and 39 years old. Still remember her.Rest in Peace, Melba. I will never forget you.My deepest condolences to you and your family.
Sincerely, Nancy Taylor-Fraser

Mrs.Mannen as we always called her as a kid, was a great Lunch Mom ( along with Mrs. Cleaves ) !! She was a great neighbour and she would always give us extra treats at Halloween, and when I had kids — we always made sure to visit her on Halloween also. Hugs to Tammy, Tom & Families. Hugs !!

Aunt Melba taught me how to hunt, plan a vegetable garden.I spent a week every summer at her home.Every other Sunday,my mom Joy and my father Pete and my brothers and sisters went for dinner.I remember one thanksgiving when all the relatives were there and we had a incredible time.I use to stop by with the tractor trailer and have tea with her.lot of fond memories, will be missed
Mrs.Mannen when I was in school and Melba when I was older.
Always one of the first places we d always take a new puppy to show it off.
She loved her dogs.
Melba would sometimes stop in , I remember her watching my Dad fix a tractor one day.
She would comment how nice a ploughed feild looked and that not many people did that any more.
She d get straw for the dog house and leave some change to put in a jar to buy socks for grandkids because kids always need socks.
RIP Melba.
Even with new people on your house it ll always be "Melba's house,"

With fond memories, we remember Mrs. Mannen as a pillar in the community, and as our beloved lunch lady during recesses at St. George German School in the mid 70's to early 80's. She was loved by so many students - as much as you would an aunt or extended family member. Mrs. Mannen made such an impact on our lives and will be missed by many. We send our sincerest condolences to Tammy, Tom, and the entire family - may the love, support, and caring memories of others uplift you. Sincerely, Jennifer & Leslie Allan.
