Obituary of Lauren Eva LaForme

LAFORME, Lauren “Babe” LaForme December 3, 1946 - May 24, 2020 Passed away peacefully in her sleep, at home, at the age of 73. Pre-deceased by her devoted partner Ronald “Ronnie” Gamble. Beloved mother of Laurie (Eric), Kristen, Julie (Craig), and Ryan (Anita). Loving nana to Lindsey, Nykolyna, Hali, Michael, Liam, Dayna, Joshua, Marek and Camryn. Pre-deceased by her parents Ferne and Leonard MacDonald, sister Cathy, and brothers Richard, Jimmy, and Maurice. Dear sister of Mary (David), Carolyn (Freddie), Barbara (Art), Iris (Butch), Billy (Audrey), and Marty (Rose). Lauren leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Family would like to express their gratitude to the dedicated and caring staff of the Juravinski Hospital, Brantford General Hospital, and the home health care providers. Special thanks to family and friends who gave their time to help care for her. Lauren’s wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held in her honour at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangments are entrusted with BECKETT- GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Ave. Brantford, 519-752-4331. A tree will be planted in memory of Lauren in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
