Mildred Eadie (nee Best)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mildred Eadie on Thursday April 16th, 2020. Predeceased by husband Jack (1995). Proud mother of five children: Donna Taylor (Harold), Gord (Sue), Ken, Ruth Hardiman, Margaret Hicks (Bill) and Sid Hardiman. Grandma to 9 grandsons and 4 granddaughters, great-grandma to 11 boys and 10 girls, and great -great grandma to Luke, Haley, William and Daniel. Mildred was a church organist for many years and taught piano lessons to children and adults for over 50 years. She was a volunteer playing the piano for sing songs for over 10 years at St Joseph's Life Care Center. At her request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. at BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Ave. Brantford, 519-752-4331. Donations in her memory may be made to the St. Joseph's Life Care Centre or the charity of your choice. A tree will be planted in memory of Mildred in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
