HOLLOWAY, Keith David On January 31st, 2020 Keith David Holloway, 71, passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital. Keith was born in Zion Hill, St. James, Barbados to Esma Medford (nee Holloway) and Keith Ifill on the 26th of September 1948. After coming to Canada he worked primarily in manufacturing. His passion was music and as a member of steel drum groups in Hamilton and Cambridge played in many venues and parades. He enjoyed playing guitar and meeting his music buddies at the Brantford Music Centre. He is survived by his children Jonathan (Taylor), Leanne and Natasha and grandchildren Dante, Tessa and Chloe and partner Margaret. David will be missed by his father Keith and family, sisters Monica, Marvan, Heather, and brothers Anthony and Trevor. He is preceded in death by Esma Medford, sister Anthea and will be missed by brothers Newland, Lester, Pearson, Barney and Roydon and by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, 519-752-4331, on Sunday, February 9th from 1-2 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. The family wishes to extend gratitude to Les and Gary who assisted him in his recent journey.
