Condolences
Our Condolences to Allyson and family. Scott and I went to School together at Woodman Drive School. We worked on vehicles together and shared a lot of good times. Scott was a very good friend as well as an ethical businessman. The world lost a great man and we will all miss him. Thank you Scott for the good times and friendship. You will never be forgotten. Michael, Laurie and Chloe Kosch.
My sincere condolences to the family. I knew Scott through a professional car locksmith forum 2 years ago. We had engaged multiple times and even though we never met, he was always available for a call. I reached out to him on January 4th to touch base and thats when he broke the news to me. I was shocked and saddened.
May he RIP and strength and patience be given to the loved ones.

My sincere condolences to Allyson and the family. I am shocked to hear this news and also saddened. What a great guy. He was a fair and honest businessman. I always valued his expertise. May God's comfort and love surround you all. Renee Anderson
It was extremely saddening to learn of Scott's passing. I first met him in Detroit in 2001 at the annual iATN conference,
along with two or three of his other friends from the "centre of the universe", as we on the west coast fondly call it.
Scott was well-liked and highly respected as a man of honesty, integrity and competency in his work and interactions with others.
I extend my sincerest condolences and deepest sympathy to Scott's family and friends. He will be missed, but not forgotten.

It was with DEEPEST sadness that I learned of Scott's passing
I met Scott in person several years ago ( we are/were both members of IATN) and we got along very well.
I will remember him fondly and keep his memory alive in my heart.
Please accept me SINCEREST Sympathies and Condolences in this VERY difficult time.

When our prior garage closed several years ago they referred us to Dunsdon Auto. We have been customers ever since. Scott always treated us well and we came to respect him as a person of integrity and competence. Scott went about his work with humility and let his work speak for him.
Allyson and family, we are deeply sorry for your loss. You can always be proud of Scott and his character and accomplishments.

I also was a customer of Scott & Allyson for several years. He was a great man & mechanic. Deepest condolences to Allyson & family & Dunsdon Motors “family “
I first met Scott about nine years ago. It was raining and my car died on St. Paul's Ave. I had his card and called him. He came and took charge and said--it's OK Ron, I will look after your car and provide a loaner..As time went by, I came to trust Scotty and his staff. His last words to me were "Don't spend any more money on this old car" I got a newer car and took it to show him----but it was too late. I am kind of an old guy but Scott always treated me with respect. Kind of a special guy.
Scott made me feel like part of the family...always welcomed in the shop...a kind gentle soul....R.I.P....scott....todd the delivery guy...
I also have been a customer of Scott and Allyson for the past 11 years and before that with Dave Dunsdon - Scott looked after my car like it was his own and I appreciated everything Scott did for me. He was a great guy to deal with. My condolences are with Allyson and the family in these trying times.
Your friend and customer - Carol Droeske
We share the same sentiments about Scott and Dunsdon Auto as in the previous comments. We too were customers when Dave Dunsdon owned the company and were a little hesitant when someone new was taking over but we were so happy with Scott and Allyson and their leadership of their staff. We couldn't say enough to others of the excellent work provided to us along with the fair, honest and up-front business owners Scott and Allyson. We too will miss him...thinking of you Allyson and the entire family as well as your Dunsdon Auto "family".
My heart goes out to Allyson, Andrew, Gregory & the family at this time. My sincere condolences.
Scott you will be forever missed. You were an outstanding mechanic and father and husband.
I will never forget walking in to the shop and you told me to sit down, I said I am fine standing stay seated....Scott when you said "SIT YOUR ASS DOWN NOW," apparently you told me. I think we were all laughing that day. A memory I will never forget.
RIP Scott.
Scott its been a pleasure and honour knowing you these last 8 years I will never forget you. Rest In Peace my friend
Scott Birdsell was a man of great integrity. I have been a customer at Dunsdon Auto for years and always received the “best” service from Scott and his team. Scott sorted out my automotive needs on a number of occasions but there was always something more apparent about Scott than his auto expertise. He was a funny, warm hearted guy who made light of most things and made you feel like more than a customer. His very outward love of family and friends as well as travel always seemed to shine through in all of our conversations. They say that God takes the good ones from us first and that even in death we must try and see the light.I am sure we all will see Scott’s light through memories, stories and of course that Scott smile that greeted so many over the years. To the entire Dunsdon Auto team, especially to Allyson, my sincerest heartfelt condolences. The shop will never be the same!

About seven years ago, we began a relationship between Munro Motors and Dunsdon Auto Pro. We soon learned that Scott Birdsell and his wife Allyson, the owners of Dunsdon, had the kind of integrity that was hard to find elsewhere. We slowly moved all our safety inspections and customer referrals to them because we found their team to be an extension of Scott's good values. Scott and I had many conversations as businessmen and even played golf together. Scott was not that interested in golf though; he enjoyed being with his family and friends at his trailer more. Scott was taken too soon, he will be missed by many, us included.
Our deepest sympathy and condolences to Allyson and family.
