POWELL, Dorothy (nee Giles) Surrounded by her loving family, Dorothy passed away on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019, at the Brantford General Hospital, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Fred Powell for over 68 years. Much loved mother of Gary (Margaret), Sherrie, Bob (Donna), Jim and Lorne (Carolyn). Loving grandma of Brandon (Kim), Matthew (Jacqueline), Laura (Jeff), Sarah and Joshua and great-grandma of Parker, Hunter, Hendrik, Dylan and Eva. Dear sister of Lorne Giles. Predeceased by her sisters Mary and Margaret and brothers Melvin, Frank and Arthur. She will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Proud and loving mother. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, on Tuesday, November 26th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. Donations to a Charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
