Obituary of Réjean "Ray" Levac

Levac,  Réjean “Ray” Joseph - It is with great sadness we announce that on October 17th, 2019, Réjean “Ray” Levac peacefully passed away, surrounded by his loving family at the Stedman Community Hospice in Brantford.  He was 71 years old.  Beloved husband of Jane for 47 years, loving father of Jean-Paul (Bridget) and Lisa, and proud papa to Quinton and Elizabeth.  Devoted brother of Liliane Ouimet (Jean-Marc, 2015), Yvon (Mary Anne Switzer), Pierrette Cody (Ian), Noël (Carole Fournier).  Predeceased by his parents Lucille (Bourdon, 2001) and René (1978), sister Céline (2017) and brother Rémi (1948).  Dear brother-in-law of Ian Goodwin (Gail Hill) and Nancy Ritchie (Brian).  Ray was a dedicated millwright at Maple Leaf Foods for 40 years.  He will be missed by family, friends and his neighbours for his long chats and helping hands. The family feels blessed that Ray’s final days were spent at the beautiful Stedman Community Hospice, and encourage any donations be made to this facility so others may experience the exceptional care they provide.  Cremation has taken place.  Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at ST. MARY'S PARISH - OUR LADY OF ASSUMPTION CHURCH, 133 Murray St., Brantford on Friday, October 25th at 10:30 am.  Interment at Oakhill Cemetery.
