Condolences
I am so sorry for your family's loss. I knew Mr. Blair, as I called him, from my parents who would take me to his office in downtown Brantford. My parents, Dr. Bob and Sharda Patel, had a long working history with him. My mom sends her condolences to your family as well. --Sunita Patel
My sincerest condolences to Susie and the family. Dick was always a great friend and supporter. He was also a favourite of my mom and dad. Such a cheerful, happy guy! John
I was very sad to read Richard Blair's obituary today in the Globe & Mail. I have such fond memories of spending time with the Blair family at our cottages in Muskoka as a young boy. My parents (Ted and Karen Adams) got married thanks to Susie and Richard who introduced them to each other in 1960. My family will always treasure the time we spent with the Blair family and will be forever grateful for the positive impact they have had on our family's life.
My parents respected Richard so much that my middle name was chosen as a tribute to his friendship. Richard Blair was the only one in my life that called me Richard and I always appreciated that small memory.
Although we lost touch with the Blair family, I would like to pass on our family's deepest sympathy.
Sincerely,
Bill Richard Adams

Sorry for your loss Susie, Caroline, Jamie and Christopher as well as the extended family. The obituary was perfectly written for such an accomplished father and husband. I will always cherish the summers my brothers and I got to spend in Muskoka at the Blair cottage. What a wonderful life he lead. Thinking of you guys out here in Vancouver.
Caroline, Danny and family, also Jamie and family.
So sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I am thinking of you and your mom, at this difficult time. Hoping you find comfort with all of the wonderful memories and time spent right now together.
To all the Blair family,
So saddened to hear of Richard's passing. May the wonderful memories of your shared moments be of comfort to you during this sad time.
Richard would entertain Jamie and I at his Muskoka cottage. Always smiling and a great host. I well remember those days... He also got his money's worth by making us his weekend slaves. All was good.
So sorry Susan but I know you had a great life together.
