Jean, Kyle & Erika ... Please accept our deep sincere condolences.

Wish we could have spent more time with Rick in his final time on earth but will always be grateful for seeing one last time in such great spirits. That's how we'll always remember him.

My mom and dad let me know that Rick died; I'm glad they were there today. I'm sure that many, many other friends and family were there with you to celebrate the life of a husband, dad, friend, and colleague who was so loved.

We think the world of you and Rick, and are so sorry that you didn't have more time together. But we are so glad for the time we have had in your company.

Rick was the finest gentleman you could hope to meet, and not above a corny joke along the way, even when he was suffering in his illness. His regard for others, and love for his family shone through everything he did.

He will be greatly missed. We offer our deepest condolences to the whole family.

Jean, I am so sorry to hear of Rick's passing. I wish I could have connected with you when I was home for a few days last week. I will always remember the times we all spent together, and the laughs, tears and along the way. I wish I could be there for you and your family at this sad time, but just know I am thinking of you and your family. Sending heartfelt sympathy, prayers and love. We have known very few men as wonderful as Rick Melnyk. He was loving, caring, helping and the greatest of friends. We will forever hold his memory in our hearts with highest esteem. We hated to know he suffered so and we pray now that you will find the strength you need to carry you through this difficult time.

Bryan and I are both so very very sorry to hear of Rick's passing. Hugs to you and your family Jean. Please know that we are thinking of you at this difficult time. We always laugh when Rick's name is brought up as we remember the business meeting in Cancun and Rick was doing the Mexican Hat Dance....so much fun....we will never forget those times.......please convey our condolences to all of your family.
