Obituary of Ronald Connolly

RONALD WILLIS CONNOLLY

Oct. 21, 1936- May 3rd, 2019

Ronald passed away peacefully in his sleep at 4:30pm on Friday, May 3rd at the Brantford General Hospital at the age of 83 years. He was the beloved husband of Marie Bella Slack. He was predeceased by mother Myrtle Joy Jaques, father Ted Connolly, son Michael Laverne,step-daughter Yvonne Slack, and daughters-in-law Kathryn (Gordon) Connolly and Debra Connolly. Survived by daughters April Leanne and Teresa Christine and son Jayce John, son-in-law Philip, brother Cliff and sister-in-law Carol. Predeceased by sister Marjorie. He was loving grandfather to Arriah and Orran Cervini and little Tristan Worrall. He's also survived by step-sons Bill, Dave and Doug. Ron was known for his love of flying, being out on the waters of Lake Huron boating with his wife and fishing with his brother and daughter April. He also enjoyed his breakfasts at the airport. He loved hunting with son Jayce and being in Jasper with daughter Teresa. You could always find Ron enjoying a bag of potato chips! We will miss you everyday dad. We love you forever. The family wish to thank the caring and supportive staff on the 7th floor of the Brantford General Hospital for the care and respect they gave to Ron. A tree will be planted in memory of Ron in the Beckett Glaves Memorial Forest.
