Condolences
I've just discovered the passing of Don Papple and feel saddened by this loss. Don was one of my instructors at Niagara College Horticulture School in St. Catharines during the 70's and was a fine educator with a great enthusiasm for his work. Always cheerful, entertaining and knowledgeable. The last time I saw him I was visiting from BC and he toured me around the new N.O.T.L. campus in 2007. I'm glad I took the time to visit him there. Condolences to his family who he spoke of with pride.
Ken and family so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are you and your family.y
What a terrible loss at such a young age!!! Rick & I worked many years with Don at Niagara College. I never saw that man without a big smile on his face!! He will be missed.
Dear Ford and Family
My Brother, Tom Webster and I grew up together on Lynden Road, Brantford ON many years ago. I played with both Papple boys, and being the only girl, they treated me like a queen. Don had such a soft side to him, always laughing, knowledable, and just a real fun guy to be around He and my brother, Tom have remained best friends every since. Tom spoke to Don almost every day on the phone during his illness and at least once a week through his life. Don will be truly missed by myself, but especially by my brother, Tom We will miss you Don. Rest In Peace, my friend Love Wendy & Tom Webster
enjoyed working with Don when the Hort Centre was in St. Catharines.
a good group of guys, students didn't realize how much they learned.
in light of Don's specialty, quite appropiate that you're planting a tree.
I had the pleasure of working with Don for several years at Niagara College. He always had time to stop and tell me about his kids and I never saw him with anything but a smile on his face. Such a lovely man with a good heart. He will be sincerely missed by all who knew him. My condolences to his family on the loss of such a kind father, grandfather and husband.
I had the priviledge of knowing Don as a colleague at NC. A great personality that I'm sure will be missed by his family. My condolences.
Sincere condolences to Don's family, I had the pleasure of curling with Don on Niagara College's team at St. Catharines Golf & Country Club. Lots of great memories from good times shared together. He shared a wonderfully upbeat approach to life; he will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to Jim, Phoebe, and Thomas on the passing of your father and grandfather. My thoughts are with you at this time.
I remember Don being so proud of showing his children Erin and Patrick all the displays the students built for our Annual Horticultural Open House. He always had a vision and provided guidance to his students to do the best possible job. My condolence to his family for loosing a wonderful dad and brother.

I am going to miss Don. We had many happy family times after he married my sister Anne, beginning at the University of Guelph, then in St Catharines and Turkey Point. He was easy going, great at telling stories and jokes, enjoyed card games, baseball and curling. Don, I'm sorry you didn't get as many golden retirement years as you wanted. Rest in peace.
