Bill passed away peacefully at Hardy Terrace Nursing Home on Monday, January 14, 2019 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Muriel (2008). Father of the late Bill Burke. Predeceased by his siblings Lillian, Louise, Irene and Richard. Bill will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He was a very active member of the Loyal Order of the Moose - Branch 791 and a longtime employee of Koehring-Waterous. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Friday from 1-2 p.m. A Celebration of Life will take place in the chapel on Friday at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Moose Lodge would be appreciated. Donations, condolences and a web-cast of the service are available online at www.beckettglaves.com. A tree will be planted in memory of Bill in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
