Obituary of Ruth Rice

Rice, Ruth Lilian (nee MacLean) Passed away peacefully, after a brief illness at the Fox Ridge Care Community, on Friday, July 27th, 2018 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Rice (1994). Loving mother of Donna Lilly, and David (Monique) Rice. Devoted grandmother of Karen (Jim) Kearney, Eric and Bryan Rice, and great-grandmother of Jessica and Taylor Cottreau. She is predeceased by her parents Angus and Mae (nee MacMillan) McLean, and her brother Wren (Audrey) McLean. She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave, Brantford on Monday from 12 - 1 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel on Monday at 1 p.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Ruth in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
