Hockin, Walter "Walt"
Passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Brantford General Hospital, on Thursday, June 28th, 2018 in his 60th year. He is survived by his daughter Chantel Hockin. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Betty Hockin, his brother Robert (Pat), and his sister Phyllis Gretzky. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters Ellen (Gerry) Bailey, brother Brian (Sharon), Sandra (Marvin) McLean, Daryl (Corinne), and Shelley, his brother-in-law Walter Gretzky, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Walt enjoyed his 44+ years working at Hartman North America, and will be missed by his many co-workers. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. (519) 752-4331. Donations to the Brantford General Hospital Cancer Clinic would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Walt in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
