Stanton, Derek - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, April 2, 2018 in his 77th year. Beloved father of John and David. Caring brother of Joyce. Friend and ex-husband of Christine Crossley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in England. Derek emigrated from England to Canada in 1974. He worked for many years at Masseys. Special thanks to the staff at ICU Ward - BGH and the staff and residents at Sheridan Lodge. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Saturday, April 7th from 2-4 p.m. Donations to Sheridan Lodge would be appreciated. Donations and condolences are available online at www.beckettglaves.com. A tree will be planted in memory of Derek in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
