Obituary of Lillian Phelps

Phelps, Lillian Francis (nee Brazier)

Born on Sept. 20, 1942, Lillian passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on July 2nd, 2017. She fought a courageous battle with cancer and Multiple Sclerosis. Loving wife of Robert Phelps for 57 years. Loving mother of the late Brian (2002), Michelle (Kevin) and Michael. Loving grandmother of Eric (Alisha), Samantha Phelps, Chelsea Gauthier (Jordan) and Kole Frank. She is survived by her sisters Eva Denham (Gary), Susanne Ferrell, and Connie Clarke, and brothers Roger and Bill Brazier. Predeceased by her sister Ruth Bean (Dave) and her brothers Edward, Lanny and Robert. She will also be fondly remembered by her brother-in-law Roger Phelps (Marilyn), sister-in-law Joanne Groppmair (Frank), and many nieces, nephews and friends. Lillian worked at Crown Electric for several years and became long time friend with many. Special thanks to her sisters Eva and Susie, her niece Connie, and sister in law Marilyn Phelps for their ongoing loving support, and also to the nurses and PSW's at Bayshore (CCAC) and the Stedman Community Hospice. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford, on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and on Saturday, July 8th, 2017 from 10-11 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice, Hankinson House, c/o St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, 99 Wayne Gretzky Pkwy, Brantford, ON N3S 6T6 would be appreciated.
