Condolences
I would just like to take this opportunity to thank EVERYONE who has reached out to me & my family during this very difficult time, the passing of my Mom, Reta Marie MacLeod. Your condolences support thoughts & & prayers have been almost overwhelming & so greatly appreciated I can say enough in words that will do it justice. I will try to get back to each & everyone of you personally as time allows but nothing has gone unnoticed or is taken for granted. I take great pride in the family & friends I do have & I am forever grateful to all them. My Mom's funeral yesterday was a fitting tribute to her & her life & legacy & I hope she will always be remembered for who she really was, & the hopes & dreams she had for all of us especially her family. Thank you once again to everyone I really can't thank all of you enough. Richard "Mitch" MacLeod
So sorry to learn of Reta's passing. I have loved and admired her for many years and known her as a quietly kind and gentle person. I was blessed to have known her.
Richard, John, Barb & families - Uncle Bill and I were saddened to learn of your mother's passing just hours after we buried our son, but we are sure that your mom is now at peace in the hands of her God and reunited with the family that she loved. We will all go on because we have no other choice and someday, perhaps, we will understand.

Richard,John and all the family, It was with great sadness when we heard of AuntReta' s passing from Barb MacLeod. She was a wonderfull caring person and someone who meant a lot to me as a very young child when she lived in Lunenburg with us and even attended school there as a young adult woman. My Mom an her were great friends as sisters and there was a lot of mutual respect for one another. She also helped out when we travelled and Mom would come to Ontario and stay with her. We will always remember and appreciate her doing that for us and Mom. She always was happy there and was relieved she did not have to stay with someone she did not know. May God bless her and may she now rest in peace after a number of very difficult years . Her pleasant smile and caring ways will always be remembered by us. Eleanor &Sam St. John's NL
