Obituary of Leslie Mondich

Mondich, Leslie Louis "Les" It is with deep sadness that his family announces Les' passing, after a brief illness, at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, June 6th, 2017, in his 79th year. Beloved uncle of Kathy (Ken) Strauss, Amy (Ron) Morgan, Susan (David) Carter, and Josie (Stephen) McDonnell, great-uncle of Jennifer, Holly (Tim), Kendra (Tyler), James, Lesley (Jeff), Sarah, Anne, Felix and Emma, and great-great uncle of Samuel, Karson, and Kylie. He is predeceased by his parents Julia and Leslie Mondich, and his sister Emma (Mike) Szoke. He will also be sadly missed by his many extended family members, and good friends and neighbors. Les was an incredibly artistic and unique person. He loved gardening, and to him, keeping his property, gardens, and creations was a labour of love. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave, Brantford, on Thursday, June 8th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, June 9th from 10-11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation. Donations to the Alzheimer Society, the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated.
