Obituary of Peter Simpson

Simpson, Peter John - Passed away with his family at his side at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in his 76 Year. Beloved husband of Janice. Loving father of Jeff (Jennifer) and Chad (Melissa). Adored grandfather of Davin, Owen and Parker. Survived by his brother Tim (Donna) and sister Sandra (Neil). Peter will also be fondly remembered by his many other friends, employees and customers. Peter was the proud owner and founder (1978) of long time local family business Peter Simpson Carpet (Great Floors). Peter was so proud to share his passion for flooring with his brother Tim, and to pass on the family business to his two sons. Peter will always be remembered for his love of meeting new people, sharing stories and making people laugh with his wit or a good joke. At Peter's request cremation has taken place. Arrangements were entrusted to the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue. Friends are invited to celebrate Peter's life at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Design Center (Salt and Pepper) - 1125 Colborne St. E., Brantford, Ontario. Food and beverages will be followed by the sharing of favourite quotes, jokes and memories of Pete's life until 8 p.m. Donations to the MS Society would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
