Kocsis, Carol (nee Proper)
Passed away unexpectedly at the John Noble Home on Tuesday, May 9th, 2017 in her 71st year. Beloved companion of Wayne Perry. Loving mother of Darlene (Don) Maunder, Joseph (Irene) Kocsis, the late Jerry Kocsis, Debbie (Chris) McLellan. Devoted grandmother "Nan" / "Nanny" to Donny (Christina), Brad (Becca), the late Jeremy and Joshua, and the late Jessica, Jacob, the late Jennifer, and her great-grandson Max. She is survived by her brother Bill. Predeceased by her parents and nine brothers and sisters. She will also be fondly remembered by her many other family members and friends. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Friday, May 12th, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and on Saturday, May 13th from 9-10 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel on Saturday, May 13th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Parkinson's Foundation would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Carol in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
