Obituary of Dorothy Roloson

Roloson, Dorothy E. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Brantford General Hospital, on Sunday, April 2nd, 2017 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Charles F. Roloson. Loving mother of Lewis (Vicki) Roloson, Allan (the late Rosene) Roloson, and Fred (Judy) Roloson. Devoted grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother of many. She will also be fondly remembered by her sister Lois Cronmiller and her many other family members and friends. She is predeceased by her sister Ruth McClintock, her brother Donald Hodgson, and her parents Wilfred and Marjorie Hodgson (nee Watts). Dorothy was a long time member of the Moose Lodge in Simcoe, she valued her family above all else, and she loved her horses and her music. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, on Tuesday, April 4th, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (A "Women of the Moose" Service will be held on Tuesday at 6:45 p.m.) , and a further visitation on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Dorothy in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
