Passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Cancer Center, Hamilton on Sunday, March 26th, 2017 in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Leslie. Melvin will also be fondly remembered by his many friends. He was well known for making friends wherever he went. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave on Thursday, March 30th, 2017 from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Private interment at Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations to the YWCA Hamilton, 75 MacNab Street South, Hamilton L8P 3C1, www.ywcahamilton.org would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Melvin in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
