Williamson, Winifred Rose Victoria (nee Munson) Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Lifecare, Brantford on Thursday, Feb. 23rd, 2017 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Roland Williamson (2005). Loving mother of John (Anne) and Barbara (Bill) Showers. Devoted grandmother of Allison (Jason Harvey), Scott Williamson, Jennifer (Dean Jemmott), Keith Showers, and Calvin Showers (Stefennie), great-grandchildren Jayson Harvey (Macie), Kristen Harvey, James Jemmott, and Drew Jemmott and great great-granddaughter Aurora Harvey. Will be missed by sisters Joyce Rawlinson and Betsy (Donald Gray). Predeceased by brothers John, Bill. Eddie and Bob. Winifred's family would like to thank Dr. Hadley, Dr. Allen, and the staff of Hummingbird Way, St. Joseph's Lifecare Center for their special care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Thursday, March 9th, 2017 from 10 to 11 a.m. A memorial service will follow in the chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Her ashes will be placed with her husband Roly, in the columbarium at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, St. Joseph’s Lifecare Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Winifred in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
